Tag Manager permits close monitoring of users website actions. Anonymous of course. The monitoring allows the site owner to track where visitors get to on a website or what they click. For example, highlight each visit that results in a person looking at the whole page down to the footer. This indicates a greater interest than a casual view of just the top of the page.
Also track clicks to emails. Often a website will have many buttons or links to "email us". With Tag Manager it is possible to determine which button or link is most effective.
Utilising a pre-built design but with bugs, the new website was live in days. Tracking is already indicating that one of the buttons on the website results in the bulk of email contacts.
